Junk Bonanza report #1

We're back from Junk Bonanza and have I got pictures to share with you....so many pictures, in fact, that I will be posting all week! This post is ONLY our booth ...future postings will be about the GREAT people we met and what they had....and if you missed this show, you MUST mark your calendar for next year. Truly...it was unbelievable.
We took many things we made...and they were a hit.
So here is a peek at what we took...most of which sold!
We had 3 of these rounded gold stained glass windows in cast frames....

I made these votives with old patterns and the base is from a chicken waterer....

A larger chicken waterer held my stamps...
I started with 60 rolls of vintage wallpaper...they flew out of the booth. People had artistic ideas to Christmas wrap in mind...

I made these fun Halloween collages from blank clock faces and posed them on stampers. I had cut a groove in the stamper knob to hold them.

Judy had this fun pull-down school map of Greece....

I put these old skinny candles in doorknobs for fun...and made some scenes of Paris hanging pictures from my personal photo collection....

I repurposed the wood pieces from a wood-burning kit into chalkboard hang tags with a ribbon made from an old measuring tape...

Here is one corner of our booth. Judy used an old front door to frame the Eiffel Tower and if you have been reading this blog much, you have already read about the adventure with this old pink door :)

Vintage birdcases on stands and wire baskets went as fast as I put them in the booth...

Our booth neighbors sold this AWESOME bittersweet...it had soo many berries, it really made the orange dishes pop out of the display ( and made a nice gift for my Mom when I got back!)

I made this collage box from items gathered in travels to Paris....

We had tons of bottles, but these pharmacy ones are very cool for Halloween...

Another corner of our booth shows the old postal window backdrop, the French loveseat I recovered, a classic style secretary, a stained glass window that sold right away, and a chandelier Judy painted and styled...
I painted this carriage and filled it with gourds...seems like Cinderella's carriage...

Judy made this bird collage box which sold right away...

These column bases were all different and are very useful for adding height to a display. One dealer bought them all...

This vintage angel perched in a French altar drew lots of attention...and has been pictured on several other blogs. We sold the angel the second day to a dealer from Minnesota...

Another corner view....

And a rare view of the back wall when there wasn't someone in the booth!
We packed a lot of stuff in a 10 x 15 booth and it paid off...we refilled several times and had a great time.

Soooooo happy to hear it was a success for you. I had heard mixed reviews about selling there, but it sounds like you and Judy had created some wonderful things that were right up their alley up there. Congrats!!!
