Flea Markets are Like a Box of Chocolates

You know how it is when you get a box of assorted chocolates and there is no key- so you don't know what is what...and sometimes you bite into it and it is awesome and sometimes you bite into it and the inside is gross but you still have the shell...Well, Kane was kinda like that. I mean, it was good, but it wasn't like I got the caramel on the first pick. I still enjoyed the chocolate though...Seems lots of people trick or treated all day and not at Kane....but those who did come, well, they got the BEST PICK of our vintage Christmas....
tree toppers and vintage ornaments
vintage blow molds sold FAST

so many ornaments...

sizes and shapes galore...

The great part of the weekend was, as always, visiting with our fellow dealers ( check out some of their blogs from our list on the sidebar) and admiring their creations and transformations...there is so much talent in the MAIN FOOD BUILDING that you really will not want to miss the last Kane of the year on the first weekend of December....
AND, as always, we LOVE to see our regular customers and meet those of you who read the blog and maybe don't comment...
So, in November, Judy and I will be focusing our creative energies on gathering and creating wonderful things for our December Kane booth....
Hope to see you there!

Oh vintage Christmas ornaments are the best! They look beautiful no matter how you style them at Christmas! I scored an entire box of them from my grandma - talk about making my 2 sisters jealous!!! Thanks for sharing!!

Sure wish I could get up there, need a ridin' partner besides the dog, I'm not a Christmas person, so the Dec. show might not be it.

Things in October seemed generally slow, very little Halloween stuff sold, guess they wanted from Walmart...ha!

See ya!

Hi Anita! Good Kane post! Thanks for your nice comment on our projects -- I take that as a double-compliment, as I always love your stuff, too! Good luck on your paper. xo

Hi Anita - The house is gone now, but I have some trim. I would need to see what you have and I might be able to help you out. Let me know or shoot me a picture of what it looks like.... Pol

TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, I USUALLY GET UP ABOUT 4:30A.M. I LOVE THE WEE MORNING HOURS AS I AM FULL OF ENERGY AND READY TO WORK ON PROJECTS! AND I JUST LOVE MY COFFEE, BREWED JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT, IN THE QUIET OF THE MORNING.

BTW, YOU WERE VERY KIND AT THE NOV. KANE AND TOOK SOME PICTURES OF MY BOOTH BECAUSE I FORGOT MY CAMERA. NOW, WHERE THE HECK ARE THEY?

Nice to chat today... hope the afternoon went well with the plaster. Sounds like it was a bit of a mess, huh? Try to get me a picture of the mop board and if you have a chance, call your sister about the punching bag. Thanks - Pol
